Lance all but dragged the young hunters through town. Past the smith and the guild down till the main road ended and they had to take the worn dirt path to the edge of the forests.

“Gooooooood Morning kids!”
There is a thud where Petra startles so hard she falls off of the bed. Across the room Cydni shoots up and reaches for her weapon that isn’t there. Both the women glare at Lance.
Lance grins, unperturbed, “Rise and shine!”
Petra stands up, rubbing the back of her head with a wince, “And you couldn’t wake us up like a considerate human being?”
“Nope!” Lance chirps and bounds out of the room. There is silence for a moment before-
“WAKE UP!”
A thud and a high pitched scream follow the bellow. Cyd and Petra see a satisfied Lance walk past

There is a tense moment, where everyone is staring at each other. Gin blinks and opens his mouth but Cydni beats him to it.
“We aren’t friends in any meaning of the word.” Cydni rolls her eyes.
“We were the ones that got attacked.” Petra adds.
The man looks over at the monster still lying on the ground, then shifts his gaze to Red.
“You know, Fen can be quite intimidating for a fuzzball. I nearly pissed myself when we met and he was smaller then. Well… I was smaller too I guess but that’s beside the point.” The man lets go of his weapon handle.

The group had set up camp right up against the cliffside. Gerdianna had managed to light a small fire pit while Cydni and Petra went off to find some dinner. Gerdi had taken off her helm and shoulders and was pulling out the fur that was left in her armor, twisting and weaving it. Gin was doing an inventory check of his own.
“You did a good job before” Gerdi commented.
“What?”
She set her torn apart helm in the sand, “With the Nargacuga” She clarified, “You did a good job.”

“I’m gonna tear his head from his god damn neck!”
Cydni crawled up the beach on her hands and knees, coughing and sputtering. The boat was already sinking when they got on it. It gave up completely a good 200 yards from shore forcing them to swim the rest of the way. She had dropped her belt and shoulders pretty early on to help keep from sinking, and most of her leg armor followed shortly after she refused to let go of her hammer.
